HMS 14" × 3" Washable Racing Air Filter
The HMS 14" × 3" Washable Racing Air Filter is designed for racing applications where dependable airflow and a tight air-cleaner seal are important. Its snap-fit design fits securely between the air-cleaner base and lid, helping reduce the chance of dirt bypassing the filter and entering your race engine.

Recommended cleaning method:
- Install the air-cleaner lid on top of the filter element.
- Plug the 5/16-inch stud hole in the lid.
- Install the air-cleaner base beneath the filter to seal the inside of the element.
- Lower the assembled air cleaner into a tub of water, submerging only the filter element up to the Sure Seal.
- Do not allow water to enter through the air-cleaner neck.
- Keeping the lid and base installed helps prevent loosened dirt and dirty wash water from reaching the clean side of the filter.
- Remove the assembly from the water, disassemble it, and allow the filter element to air-dry for at least 48 hours before reinstalling it.
Do not apply filter oil.
