Our Chrome Moly 5/8" trailing arms are built out of 1 1/8" Chrome Moly tubing.
What we do different is that we are machining the treads after we weld the slug into the tube. This way we can make sure and have the bores square to the tube. Whereas the old way we did it was to weld in a machine slug and hope we got it close.
