HMS Stainless Steel Air Cleaner Stud Kit
The HMS 5/16" Stainless Steel Air Cleaner Stud Kit provides a strong, adjustable mounting solution for your race car air cleaner assembly.
This stud kit works great with our HMS 14" Flat Top Air Cleaner Base and HMS 14" Flat Top Air Cleaner Lid.
The kit includes a large flat washer and jam nut with O-ring to help secure the air cleaner lid and maintain the desired installed height.

6-1/4" Stainless Steel Stud
- Designed for the HMS air cleaner lid and base
- Works with a 4" tall HMS air filter element
8-1/2" Stainless Steel Stud
- Designed for the HMS air cleaner lid and base
- Works with a 5" tall HMS air filter element
- Also works with a 4" tall Walker Classic air filter element
- Ideal for applications using a taller Sure Seal
Carburetor Fitment
- 5/16" carburetor stud
- Fits Holley 4412-style carburetors
- Fits many 4-barrel carburetors
- Does NOT fit the Holley XP 4412 carburetor

Dave's Tip
“I like to set the air cleaner lid to have about 1/4" to 3/8" of load on it.”
This helps keep the air cleaner assembly properly seated and secure.
