HMS Bolt-In 4-Bar Chassis Plate Slugs
These replacement slugs are designed for our HMS Bolt-In Chassis 4-Bar Plate.
The interchangeable offset slugs allow you to move the rear end forward or backward in the chassis without changing the trailing-arm lengths.
Available Offsets
- Zero offset
- 1/4" offset
- 1/2" offset
HMS bolt-in chassis plates come standard with zero-offset slugs. The 1/4" and 1/2" offset slugs are available separately for additional wheelbase adjustment.
Sold individually. Two slugs are required for each plate—four slugs per side and eight slugs for one complete car.

On the right rear (RR), moving the rear end forward can help tighten the car, while moving it backward can help free the car up. Because this adjustment is made by changing the slug offset, the trailing-arm lengths remain the same, helping maintain the rear suspension’s motion ratios.
Handling results may vary depending on the chassis, track conditions and overall setup.
