Installation Tip
For best performance, keep the coil wire as short as practical when mounting the ignition coil. A shorter coil wire helps minimize unnecessary resistance and keeps the ignition system installation clean and efficient.
Whenever possible, mount the ignition coil away from engine heat, especially exhaust headers and other high-temperature areas. Excessive heat can shorten the life of ignition components and wires.
