The Art's Thermostat Bypass System is designed to bring your engine up to operating temperature quickly while maintaining consistent coolant temperature during caution periods, staging, and idle time. By circulating coolant until the engine reaches operating temperature, there is no need to block off the radiator, helping provide more consistent engine temperatures throughout the race.

With the Art's Thermostat Bypass System installed, I don't idle the engine while waiting in staging. I simply start the engine when there's one lap to go, pull onto the track, and the engine reaches operating temperature by the time I need full power.
